| EXPERIENCE 4–5 Yrs AR · 1+ Yr TL | FUNCTION Operations – RCM | LOCATION Gurugram (Onsite) | SHIFT Night (US Hours) |
| Experience gate — This role requires 4–5 years of US healthcare AR experience, of which a minimum of 1 year must be as a Team Lead with formal team ownership (targets, coaching, reviews). SME/mentor-only profiles without TL accountability will not qualify. |
About the Role
You still know the work cold — when a complex denial or an angry payer call needs handling, you can take the headset.
Key Responsibilities
Run the Pod- Own daily allocation and queue management across assigned AR buckets — the right accounts, worked in the right order, by the right people.
- Drive daily productivity and quality targets; track per-associate output and intervene early, not at month-end.
- Run daily huddles — payer updates, error patterns from QA, and priorities for the shift.
- Answer for pod-level metrics — resolution rate, aged-AR movement, appeal TAT, and quality scores — in weekly reviews with the AM/Manager.
- Handle escalated accounts and complex denials personally when needed.
- Partner with QA on calibration and turn audit findings into floor-level fixes.
- Coach associates on payer-specific nuances, documentation quality, and call handling.
- Manage shift adherence, leave planning, and floor discipline for the pod.
- Identify and develop Sr Associate potential; give structured input into appraisals.
Skills & Experience
Must-Have- 4–5 years of hands-on US healthcare AR (provider side), with strong denials and appeals depth.
- Minimum 1 year as a Team Lead with formal ownership of team targets, coaching, and performance conversations.
- Command of AR metrics and the levers behind them — you can explain why a bucket moved, not just that it did.
- Experience on practice-management / EHR platforms — Epic, AdvancedMD, or athenahealth preferred; similar platforms considered.
- Experience running a pod across multiple clients or specialties.
- Exposure to workforce basics — shrinkage, occupancy, and staffing math.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) is mandatory and must be completed — candidates currently pursuing a degree, or with an incomplete/dropped graduation, are not eligible.
- Communication: Strict — confident spoken and written English for payer calls, floor communication, client notes, and weekly reviews with management.
- Work mode & shift: Onsite at Gurugram, 5 days a week, on a fixed night (US-hours) shift — reliable attendance, punctuality, and roster adherence are essential.
- Systems: Comfortable with billing/EHR platforms and MS Excel for allocation, tracking, and pod-level reporting.
- Notice period: Immediate joiners or candidates on short notice strongly preferred.
Performance Expectations
You will be measured on clear, role-specific metrics:- Pod resolution / collection rate against target.
- Aged-AR movement (90+/120+) for the pod.
- Pod quality score (QA) and calibration adherence.
- Productivity vs. target, shift adherence, and pod attrition.
Hiring Process
- Aptitude & Skill based assessment.
- Domain & operations interview (RCM knowledge, scenarios).
- HR discussion (fitment, shift, notice).
